equity and fixed income Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) index families, totaling over 40 indices in all.
Luxembourg-based ECPI groups its equity index family into ECPI Global Equity Indices, ECPI Thematic Indices and ECPI Strategic Indices. According to ECPI, the constituents of its equity indices must meet the minimum ECPI ESG Rating which adopts a rules-based approach, with a rating scale from F the lowest grade (Ineligible) to EEE, the highest grade.
Its fixed income index family is divided into ECPI Euro Ethical Bond, ECPI Global Ethical Bond, and ECPI Global Developed Bond. According to ECPI, the selection criteria for the fixed income families are: bond type, bond classification, credit rating, time to maturity, amount outstanding and sustainability screening.
