For the month of October 42 of the 47 global equity markets were up 7.51%, the best month since October 2011, when they gained 10.77%.
Developed markets added 7.51% (up 7.21% excluding the U.S.), as 24 of the 25 markets increased
New Zealand led the way gaining 13.31%, followed by Germany (10.08%), and Japan (9.29%)
Luxembourg posted the only loss, off 1.17%, down 23.79% YTD
Emerging markets added 7.48% for the month, as 18 of the 22 markets gained. YTD emerging markets remain deeply in the red, off 11.47%, with 15 of the 22 markets posting double-digit declines
U.A.E. fell the most, off 4.68% followed by the Czech Republic, down 3.09%
Indonesia did the best, as it rebounded 15.56% but remains deeply in the red by 25.80% YTD
China gained 12.44% but remains 3.92% in the red YTD
