Listing of the Units will become effective at 5:01 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2010 in anticipation of the prospectus offering closing on Tuesday, June 29, 2010. The Units will be posted for trading at the opening on June 29, 2010.
The Claymore ETF is authorized to issue an unlimited number of Units each of which represents an undivided interest in the assets of the Claymore ETF. Units of the Claymore ETF are being issued and sold on a continuous basis and there is no maximum number that may be issued.
The Claymore ETF is a trust established by Claymore Investments, Inc. (“Claymore” or the “Manager”) and has been designed to replicate the single inverse of the daily return of the 10 Year GOC Bond, net of expenses. The 10 Year GOC Bond means any bond(s) issued by the Government of Canada (exclusive of any Crown Corporations, Provincial bonds or Municipal bonds) consisting of semi-annual pay fixed rate bonds denominated in Canadian dollars originally issued at 10 year auctions, with an effective term to maturity of 8 – 10½ years, a credit rating of at least BBB and minimum issue size of $3.5 billion.
The registration and transfer of Units will be effected through the book-entry only system administered by CDS Clearing and Depository Services Inc. (“CDS”). Unitholders of the Claymore ETF will not have the right to receive physical certificates evidencing their ownership of the Units.
