09/07/2009 SIX Swiss Exchange Indices: changements des compositions du SMI®, du SMIM®, du SLI® et de la répartition du SPI® Small/Middle/Large

The Management Committee of SIX Swiss Exchange has decided to make changes to SIX Swiss Exchange index ..

baskets on the basis of a recommendation from the Index Commission and in compliance with the SMI®, SLI® and SPI® index rules. The indices will be adjusted on 18 September 2009 after closing. The adjustment takes effect on 21 September 2009.
The splitting up of Julius Baer Holding Ltd. into two separate entities – Private Banking (Julius Baer Group Ltd.; to be retained in the SMI®) and Asset Management (GAM Holding Ltd.) – has been taken into account in the changes made to the relevant index baskets. In the event that the transaction is concluded after 18 September 2009, the index inclusions and exclusions relating to GAM Holding Ltd. (marked with *) will be shifted accordingly.
