Highlights <\/strong><\/p>\n

Assets invested in actively-managed ETFs\/ETPs listed globally increased by $3.11 Bn during April to reach a new record high of $86.09 Bn  In April 2018, actively-managed ETFs\/ETPs listed globally saw net inflows of $2.75 Bn <\/p>\n

Active fixed income ETFs performed well this month,<\/strong> with assets invested in the PIMCO Enhanced Short Maturity Strategy Fund (MINT US) reaching a new record high of $8.99 Bn <\/p>\n

According to ETFGI\u2019s April 2018 active ETF and ETP industry insights report, an annual paid-for research subscription service, active ETFs and ETPs listed globally gathered $2.75 Bn in net inflows, bringing YTD net inflows to $12.12 Bn. This represents 78.24% more than the $6.80 Bn in net inflows at this point last year. <\/p>\n

Global Active ETF and ETP asset growth as at end of April 2018<\/strong>

At the end of April 2018, the Global active ETF\/ETP industry had 483 ETFs\/ETPs, with 585 listings, assets of $86.09 Bn, from 101 providers on 18 exchanges in 15 countries. <\/p>\n

April 2018 marked the 40th consecutive month of net inflows into active ETFs\/ETPs listed globally. The $2.75 Bn gathered during April was 39.83% more than net inflows during this month last year. <\/p>\n

The majority of monthly net new inflows can be attributed to the top 20 ETFs by net new assets, which collectively have gathered $7.87 Bn during 2018. The PIMCO US Dollar Short Maturity ETF (MINT US) on its own accounted for year-to-date net inflows of $945 Mn.
