Prior to joining Source, Jim was Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Russell Investments’ global ETF business from 2010. Before this, he was Chief Marketing Officer for Barclays Global Investors (BGI) and the iShares business, helping to drive its global expansion as a member of the senior management team from its launch in 2000. Jim worked closely with iShares founder Lee Kranefuss, who joined Source in 2014 as Executive Chairman. Prior to BGI, Jim was the product manager of Fidelity Investments’ retail mutual fund supermarket. He has eight years’ experience in management consulting with PwC and was also a captain in the US Air Force for five years, serving as an electrical engineer. His academic honours include a BSc in Electrical Engineering\/Engineering and Public Policy and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University as well as a Juris Doctor (Law) from Suffolk University Law School.<\/p>\n
