Ossiam, the smart beta investment specialist and affiliate of Natixis Investment Management, has today announced the addition of seven employees to its management, investment, sales and legal teams.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bruno Poulin, CEO of Ossiam<\/strong><\/span>, said: “We are delighted to welcome our new colleagues, whose strong qualifications and experience will be key for Ossiam\u2019s continuing growth. They will enhance our ability to integrate ESG into our quantitative investment solutions and reinforce how we deliver service to our clients.\u201d<\/p>\n

Luc Dumontier joined Ossiam in September 2021 as Head of Investment and Operations<\/strong><\/span> where he oversees the investment and research divisions and is responsible for further developing the capabilities of Ossiam’s investment management platform. He began his career in 1998 at Sinopia, going on to take over responsibility for absolute return strategies at Sinopia\/HSBC Asset Management. In 2013, Luc joined La Fran\u00e7aise Investment Solutions (LFIS) as Head of Factor Investing Strategies. He holds Master’s degrees in Economics and Finance from the University of Paris I Panth\u00e9on-Sorbonne and has been a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Systematic Investment since 2019.<\/p>\n

Ombeline Michallet joined Ossiam in October 2021 as a portfolio manager and trader<\/strong><\/span>. She began her career at PIMCO, first based in Munich, then moving to London, where she rose to assistant portfolio manager of emerging market debt and European credit funds. She holds a double Master\u2019s in management, financial markets and financial economics from Universit\u00e9 Panth\u00e9on Assas (Paris II) and a Master\u2019s in Financial Economics from EDHEC.<\/p>\n

Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Bach joined Ossiam in November 2021 as Head of ESG and Responsible Investment<\/span><\/strong>. He joins Ossiam having recently acted as a consultant on ESG to investment managers Hermes Investment Management and Ruffer LLP. Previously he was Senior Corporate Governance and Proxy Voting Specialist for Sustainalytics and a consultant to the Asset Owners Disclosure Project, an NGO. He was a research director and senior portfolio manager for seven years at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority.\u00a0 He has also held roles as a trader, portfolio manager and analyst for UBP, Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale and UBS. He is a graduate of ENS T\u00e9l\u00e9com Bretagne and ESSEC and is a CFA\u00ae charter holder. He reports to Carmine De Franco, Head of Research.<\/p>\n

St\u00e9phane Brunel joined the sales team in August 2021<\/span><\/strong>. St\u00e9phane was previously Senior RFP Manager at Neuflize OBC Investissements (ABN Amro Group), Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management and Natixis Investment Management between 2012 and 2021. He is a graduate of the \u00c9cole Sup\u00e9rieure de Commerce de Toulouse (2004) and the University of Paris Nanterre (2001).<\/p>\n

Maider Lasarte also joined the sales team in August, dedicated to non-French-speaking countries<\/span><\/strong>. She held similar positions at Natixis Global Asset Management (later Natixis Investment Management) from 2013 to 2021. Maider is a graduate of Neoma Business School (2011) and ICADE (2013).<\/p>\n

Vildane Akinci joined Ossiam as Legal Counsel in September 2021<\/span><\/strong>, coming from OWRL Avocats where she worked on the crypto-assets team following a role on the finance team at Gowling WLG. She holds a Bachelor\u2019s in Private Law from University of Paris I Panth\u00e9on-Sorbonne and a Master\u2019s in Business Law from University Paris 2 Panth\u00e9on-Assas.<\/p>\n

Antoine Tiago joined Ossiam in May 2021 as Director of Business Development, France<\/span><\/strong>. Antoine began his career in 1985 at the Girardet stock exchange company. He joined Robeco Gestions as Secretary General in 2001, later moving over to Robeco Asset Management, Paris. He joined Natixis Asset Management as Director of Client Services and became Institutional Sales Director (France) at Natixis Investment Management International. He holds a Master’s degree in Back-Office Administration from the Banking Training Centre.<\/p>\n
