Fixed Income and Equity ETFs accumulated \u20ac3.6bn and \u20ac7.2bn respectively&#8230;&#8230;<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"\/newsletter\" class=\"broken_link\"><strong>Sign up to our free newsletters<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Vincent Denoiseux, Head of ETF Research and Solutions at Lyxor Asset Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #9ab62f;\">Fixed Income flows<\/span><\/strong>: fixed income funds and ETFs gathered a combined \u20ac30.7bn in net new assets (\u20ac20.8bn into active and \u20ac9.9bn into passive).<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #9ab62f;\">Equity flows:<\/span><\/strong> equity funds and ETFs have enjoyed \u20ac10.4bn of net new assets with \u20ac9.3bn into active and \u20ac1.1bn in passive funds.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #9ab62f;\"><strong>ESG ETFs<\/strong> <\/span>continue their strong trend and gathered \u20ac2.3bn. \uf075 Smart Beta ETFs gathered \u20ac0.6bn.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #9ab62f;\">Chart of the month:<\/span> <\/strong>The outbreak of a new coronavirus in the central Chinese city of Wuhan triggered a risk-off mood.<\/p>\n<p>This prompted a deceleration in net new assets creation into European domiciled funds and ETFs for both onshore Chinese equities (A shares) and offshore equities (H Shares).<\/p>\n<p>The full extent could not be seen due to market closure in the last week of January for the Lunar year holidays.
