London Stock Exchange remains Europe\u2019s top exchange for ETPs, and continues to grow across different products including fixed income ETFs, emerging market ETFs and Exchange Traded Commodities etc..<\/span><\/p>\n

Listings <\/strong><\/p>\n

29 new ETFs were listed in October 2018.<\/p>\n

There are now 1145 ETFs (available as 1,666 lines through multi-currency offerings) and 486 ETCs\/ETNs (available as 579 lines) on our London market.<\/p>\n

Trading activity <\/strong><\/p>\n

Orderbook value traded for ETPs in October 2018 was \u00a310.7 billion (367k trades), up by 43% compared to October 2017.<\/p>\n

Orderbook value traded for ETPs YTD 2018 was \u00a388.1 billion (2.8m trades), up by 14% compared to same period in 2017.<\/p>\n

Market coverage <\/strong><\/p>\n

23 registered market makers provide continuous pricing and a high quality pool of liquidity on our order-book.<\/p>\n

In addition, more than 150 member firms from 19 countries are connected to the London Stock Exchange’s order book and have access to trade ETFs.<\/p>\n

Points to highlight: <\/strong><\/p>\n

There are 35 ETP issuers on London Stock Exchange and a total of 1,631 ETPs.<\/p>\n

We have welcomed China Post Global, ITI Funds, Tabula, Expat and HAN ETF as new ETP issuers in 2018.<\/p>\n

299 new ETPs were listed on LSE in 2018.<\/p>\n

Of the 299 new listings, there were 162 equity products, 82 fixed income products, 42 commodity products, and 12 currency products and 1 derivatives product.<\/p>\n

Products listed on LSE showed a good diversity in terms of asset classes and trading currencies, offering investors with greater flexibility.<\/p>\n
