Sentiment reversed again, with equity ETFs attracting most of the inflows (\u20ac1.5bn) and&nbsp; fixed income ETFs suffering their worst month since December 2016 (-\u20ac765m). Overall, flows remain strong but they are behind last year\u2019s record levels&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Equity ETFs<\/strong> enjoyed a significant rebound in May after their travails of April. US ETFs attracted just under \u20ac700m but global equities were the standout performers by far after they drew in just under \u20ac3.4bn \u2013 their best month ever.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;In contrast, Eurozone equities suffered outflows of \u20ac3.3bn after political and economic concerns mounted. Emerging markets also lost some of their lustre and recorded their first negative month since January last year (\u20ac-476m).&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Fixed income ETFs<\/strong> enjoyed a far less positive month in May, driven by a collapse in flows into developed market government bonds (\u20ac-560m), led by US Treasuries (\u20ac-321m).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">European government bond outflows weren\u2019t far behind.
