European ETP Monthly Highlights (Assets, Flows & Launches):<\/p>\n

Assets & Flows :<\/strong> Assets rose by \u20ac4bn MoM (Total Assets \u20ac660bn), Net inflows +\u20ac10.6bn (YTD +\u20ac96bn)<\/p>\n

18 New Launches:<\/strong>  10 Equity, 7 Fixed Income and 1 Multi Asset.<\/p>\n

Investment Themes for the Month <\/strong><\/p>\n

Equities (+\u20ac6.9bn)<\/strong> – Winners: US +\u20ac1.9bn, Europe +\u20ac1.5bn, EM +\u20ac1.1bn, Global DM +\u20ac1bn and  Japan +\u20ac0.6bn; Smart Beta covering all regions saw + \u20ac553mn inflows. Segments that benefitted include Robotics, Multi-Factor and ESG strategies.<\/p>\n

Regional flow drivers:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Europe (+\u20ac1.5bn) : ETFs tracking Euro STOXX 50, STOXX Europe 600 & MSCI Europe were the major contributors.<\/p>\n

Other regions (+\u20ac4.6bn): 1) US inflows (S&P 500) 2) EM inflows (MSCI EM, MSCI EM IMI &  China) 3) Global DM inflows (MSCI World) 4) Japan inflows (FTSE Japan , MSCI  Japan \u20ac Hedged).<\/p>\n

Fixed Income (+\u20ac1.2bn)<\/strong> –  Winners:  Global DM +\u20ac1.1bn, US +\u20ac748mn, Europe + \u20ac726mn ; Losers: EM -\u20ac450mn. High Yield segments saw outflows. Regional flow drivers:<\/p>\n

Europe (+\u20ac726mn):  Inflows into IG Corp. Bonds offset by HY Corp. Bonds outflows. Sovereign and other sub segments also drew inflows.<\/p>\n

Other regions (+\u20ac0.7bn): 1) Global DM inflows (Global Aggregate bonds) 2) US inflows (Sovereign bonds) 3) EM outflows (Sovereign bonds).<\/p>\n

Commodities (+\u20ac321mn) <\/strong>–  Gold (+\u20ac632mn), Broad Commodity (+\u20ac325mn) inflows, Crude Oil outflows (-\u20ac292mn).<\/p>\n

Turnover: MoM turnover increased by 22%<\/strong><\/p>\n

The total turnover activity into European ETPs increased by 22% where total turnover observed was (\u20ac70bn) compared to the last month\u2019s total (\u20ac57.5bn). All the major asset classes recorded increased turnover activity.<\/p>\n
