European ETP Monthly Highlights (Assets & Flows):<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u25a0 Assets : European ETPs AUM decreased by \u20ac1.5bn on MoM basis and ended the month at \u20ac605bn.<\/p>\n

\u25a0 Flows : European-domiciled ETPs registered inflows of +\u20ac8.7bn during last month where year-to-date flows have reached +\u20ac57bn.<\/p>\n

New Product Launches \u2013 6 New products<\/p>\n

European market witnessed 6 new products launched in June which were all Equity ETFs.<\/p>\n

Investment Themes for the Month<\/p>\n

\u25a0 Marginal  outflows  from  European  equity  (standard  indices)  following negative market returns in June (-\u20ac95mn). EM saw significant inflows (+ \u20ac1.1bn). Country wise, US (+\u20ac635mn), Japan (+\u20ac391mn) benefited while Germany saw outflows (-\u20ac763mn).<\/p>\n

\u25a0 Smart  Beta  segment  recorded  inflows  of  +\u20ac1bn.  Factor  (+\u20ac505mn), Thematic  (+\u20ac198mn),  Dividend  (+\u20ac186mn)  and  ESG  (+\u20ac146mn)  ETFs were the segments that benefitted. Factor flows were distributed across Low Vol, Value and Multi-Factor strategies.<\/p>\n

\u25a0 Sector-wise, Industrials (+\u20ac210mn) benefitted while Financials (-\u20ac261mn) and Healthcare (-\u20ac154mn) saw redemptions.<\/p>\n

\u25a0 Currency Hedged (+\u20ac560mn) equity ETFs had a strong showing which was largely centered around EUR hedged products.<\/p>\n

\u25a0 Robust Fixed Income inflows (+\u20ac4.2bn) mainly into EM Bonds and EUR Corporates.<\/p>\n

\u25a0 Gold (+\u20ac264mn) and Crude Oil (+\u20ac282mn) contributed most of the overallcommodity flows (+\u20ac431mn).<\/p>\n

\u25a0 US listed ETFs with exposure to European equities drew +$3.9bn.<\/p>\n

Turnover: MoM turnover decreased by 10%<\/p>\n

The  total  turnover  activity  into  European  ETPs  increased  by  10%  (\u20ac68.5bn) compared to the previous month\u2019s total (\u20ac76.3bn).<\/p>\n
