WisdomTree announces the appointment of Altaf Cassam in a newly-created Head of Compliance role at WisdomTree in Europe.<\/span>…<\/p>\n

Cassam joins WisdomTree from Aberdeen Asset Management where he was a MiFID II Consultant.  <\/span>He brings almost 15 years’ experience in the financial services industry, with 10 years’ experience specifically in regulation and compliance. Cassam has held senior positions at Ernst & Young LLP, Pioneer, Threadneedle and Natixis.<\/p>\n

Cassam will be based in London and responsible for all European compliance operations. He will report to Bryan Governey, WisdomTree General Counsel in Europe.<\/p>\n
